Mission and values

Our mission lies at the epicenter of equity. We want to reform what equity should look and feel like; be it health, finance, or education amidst one’s socio-economic status. We approach our mission through the promotion of empowering women by providing women access to affordable healthcare, education, and access to capital. This will increase the ability to effect change amongst the whole community, because guaranteeing the full rights of women and providing access to opportunities meets an overall wide range of international development goals. 

Through intensive research surrounding women's health in the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa, were able to center our mission and goals of our organization around pain-points that marginalized a woman's livelihood. There is a severe shortage of trained medical personnel in the Africa region and just 3% of the world's healthcare workers are deployed in Sub-Saharan Africa. With the framework of Bonne Foundation's programs, we will utilize our leadership team's expertise to help service women as well as introduce educational courses with a partnering nursing school. We believe the quality of healthcare and services should saturate the healthcare system in its entirety and all starts with the individual.

It has been stated that, “the effect of an empowered woman contributes to the health and productivity of their families, communities, and countries, creating a ripple effect that benefits everyone”.
